ಇತಿಹಾಸದ ಹಲವು ಬಾವುಟಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾರಿಸಿದ್ದ ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಬತೇರಿ , ಇಂದು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ ದ್ವಜ ಹಾರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.!!!!

ಕಳೆದ ಸಂಚಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜಮ್ಮಾ ಮಸೀದಿ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಿಳಿದೆವು ಬನ್ನಿ ಇಲೊಂದು ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ದ್ವಜ ದ ಕಂಬ ಹೊತ್ತ ಬತೇರಿ[ ಫ್ಲಾಗ್ ಪೋಸ್ಟ್ ] ಇದೆ ಅದನ್ನು ನೋಡೋಣ. ಶ್ರೀ ರಂಗ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರು ಇದನ್ನು ದೊರದಿಂದಲೇ ನೋಡಿ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾರೆ.ಅಥವಾ ಗಮನಿಸುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲಾ , ಪ್ರವಾಸಿ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶಿಗಳೂ ಸಹ ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಂತಹ ಮಹತ್ವ ಕೊಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ .  ಆದರೆ ಇದರ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಹೋದಾಗ ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯುತ್ತದೆ ಇದರ ಮಹತ್ವ. ಹೌದು ಈ ಜಾಗದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ 1799 ಮೇ 04 ರಂದು ಬ್ರಿಟೀಷರು ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ಅಂತಿಮ ಯುದ್ದದಲ್ಲಿ ಟಿಪ್ಪೂ ಮಡಿದ ನಂತರ ಶ್ರೀ ರಂಗ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಪಡೆದ  ಕುರುಹಾಗಿ ಟಿಪ್ಪೂ ಸುಲ್ತಾನನ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಲಾಂಚನದ ಬಾವುಟ ಇಳಿಸಿ ಬ್ರಿಟೀಷ್ ಬಾವುಟವನ್ನು ಈ ಬತೆರಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಾರಿಸಿದ್ದರು.

ಶ್ರೀ ರಂಗ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ  ಹಲವಾರು ಸ್ಮಾರಕಗಳ ಪರಿಚಯ ನಡಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ  ಜೊತೆಯಾಗಿ ಬಂದಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ನಿಮಗೆ ೨೦೧೨ ರ ಶುಭಾಶಯಗಳು. ಬನ್ನಿ ಕಳೆದ  ಸಂಚಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ  "ಇನ್ಮಾನ್ಸ್ ದಂಜನ್" ಜೈಲಿನ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದರೆ ನಿಮಗೆ ಕಾಣ ಸಿಗುವುದೇ  ಹಳದಿ ಬಣ್ಣದ ಕಲಾ ವೈವಿಧ್ಯದ  ಈ "ಜಮ್ಮಾ ಮಸೀದಿ"    ನನಗೆ ದೊರೆತ 1897  ರ "SERINGAPATAM

said that whenever by his blessings he should be marle
king he would do so. And wben '1'ippu did become
king, he pulled down the temple and a mosque was
raisl"d on the site in 1790.
